Our Masterplan Renews the Existing Civic Center by turning it into a veritable Civic Campus featuring multiple opportunities for Weather protected Civic Gathering and Performance Spaces, by creating a Central Circulation axis that organizes and facilitates circulation throughout the Campus, by enhancing the interconnection of the existing and new buildings with each other via secondary pathways that radiate from the Central Axis, offers resting places and nodes along new circulation pathways, generates opportunities for citizens to interact, and finally opens up the Civic Campus to the City beyond, thus welcoming in the community to and making the Civic Center the Hearth of the Community.
